2 months of not being able to figure out why my camper wont start...2 mobile mechanics couldn't figure it out. My shop says they are to busy for me to tow it in.... well today I figured it out on my own with no mechanical knowledge so I'd say I had a good day :D

That'll show them... send them a comment card, asking them how well you performed their work.

Bwawaahaha!

Given what some of you have gone through, I feel a bit guilty saying... I’m actually really, really well. The last two years have been quite positive for my family. Lots of good things have happened.

My transition to working from home was seamless. Not commuting gave me about 2 hrs more a day. Being home gave me a lot more family time. Both kids headed off to college and are doing very well and love their schools. We were finally able to sell a house that we were supposed to sell 12 years ago. (Being remote landlords for 12 years was very stressful.) I’ve lost almost 50 lbs.

Working from home is allowing us to move somewhere much less expensive to live with no change in income (well, various forms of insurance and taxes will be much less).

The world is a place filled with anger and frustration right now. 2 years of forced isolation, probably with greater force than necessary. Facing multiple years of inflation, high prices, and likely a major economic downturn. Rogue nations are rampaging and threatening the globe.

Basic courtesy seems to have gone down the drain as a symptom of the broader decline of society in recent times.

No. Burnt out. Constant pain. Lots of anxiety. High BP. Frankly, I'm a wreck. But I mask it well so I don't worry my family. Thank goodness for the band. Rehearsals are very therapeutic. Shame our next gig isn't for a month, but I wrote a song for it. The hotel is haunted and I wrote a tune about the ghost. This is the only song I've written. We worked it up last week at rehearsal. Still needs a bit of work. Hope you like it. And no, I can't resist the urge to share it.

My dog, Oskar <turning 15 on April 17th!>, and I loved this tune, your band is on point!

But please tell me that dartboard is decorative only.

Thank you! As I said, first song I've ever written. It came into my head in just a couple of minutes. I think it took longer to write out.

The dartboard, thus far, has been decorative. I don't know how long that will last...

Great first song.

You might want to raise that board to about eye level or you'll ruin your game ;)
normal eye level, don't let Goliath the singer be the judge.

I'm pretty good, thanks. The missuz and I were very fortunate the last couple of years: despite the pandemic, neither one of us missed a paycheck, nor did we have to change our lifestyle in any particularly radical way. I didn't do much with bass or gigging, but I'm more into piano these days anyway, and she (the drummer of the household) and I were able to indulge our music hobbies as a duet by jamming at home and making the occasional video to share with friends and family. The rest of our household -- that is, our three cats -- are all healthy and happy. I thought turning 50 a while back would be weird, but I'm strangely digging it so far -- minus the part where my weight seems to sneak up when I'm not looking ... In general, life's pretty good. :)

Tbh, most of the time not really. The last 2 years have really taken a toll on me. My job is wearing me thin and I’m trying to make changes for the better and taking a 60% cut in pay along the way.. mental health first. This song has always summed up how I felt about life, as I’ve battled with depression since I was a kid.

I really, really enjoy this track that you shared. It's a win win that music is an escape. You escape pretty good :D
