Is it bad to date the lead singer ???

Didn't Gwen Stefani write the biggest No Doubt hit after Tony Kanal broke up with her? So you got potential. J/K you got good advice here. Listen to eat.
Usually most companies forbid that and ask that one of the parties move to another group. For very good reason.
Poor economically? And if so why do you even have to mention that?
Rebecca Johnson and Con Settineri seem to be doing ok. Band is tight.
You're already dating, so it's already complicating things. If you break it off now, one or both of you are likely unhappy about it and it affects the band. If you don't break it off, sooner or later it will become a problem for one of you or another band member. and it affects the band. Despite all good intentions, it will.
If this other person is "the one", you may be better off if one or both of you pursue other musical outlets. Unless, this band is very, very special...

Getting along wasn’t just a choice or a happy coincidence; their lives depended upon them getting along. If one screwed up, they’d’ve both been on the streets. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but it worked. Their drama-free state was both feigned and guaranteed by fear. I highly doubt that that needed to be spelled out for anyone, including you.
I’m sorry if you’re needing so badly to feel offended today that you’re searching for something to see as crawly under this rock. It does look like you’re gloved up and looking for conflict here.

Our "adopted" daughter as in one of my daughter's best friends and lived with us for 4 years was dating the guitarist of an upcoming LA band. They were gonna hire her in but she wanted to keep her relationship / She did not accept and they are still together. The drama in that band is that the bass player surprisingly has had relationships with the other members of the band except the boyfriend. But somehow the band is still together and looks like the drama is now under control and they are doing well, doing tours in the west. All guys by the way. And metro as well.
No I am not looking for conflict, but your other comments are a bit much - just looking for clarity - but I will stop and will be out of here.
Poor as in dire straits. I get it. I did not see a connection about economic status and success of relationships.

I remember one time the guitarists girlfriend was dating the lead singer... That was definitely frowned upon, particularly by the guitarist... The singer was kicked out of the band.
Another time the singer dated someone in the band for a few months, then they split up, and she decided I was the shoulder she was going to cry on. Despite my best efforts to not get involved, we both ended up kicked out, and the band broke up.
Sure it's probably a bad idea, but is too late now. Honestly if the whole band had told you it was a bad idea before you started dating you'd have done it anyway. If the relationship blows up, then the band will blow up, but the band was probably going to blow up sooner or later anyway. Nothing you can do but see where it all goes!

If you have to ask, "Is it ____ to _______ the ______?" You already know the answer.
If it's a professional band, absolutely do not do this. Run far, far, far, far, far away. I learned the hard way not to sh*t where you eat.
If it's a hobby band, I guess do your thing.
