Is there a "look" for a bassist?

I always noticed bassists usually have strong arms (even those who use picks) and huge hands, well I just have quite reasonable big hands and no muscle at all!

My digits are sausages. Short and fat sausages.

hmm, might have to amp up the dorkiness then, I don't want to be all sinister or look like I take myself too seriously. . .

I guess the look I'm trying for with this group (rockish/jumpish blues fwiw) would be "classy with an edge of rock." Which doesn't seem to be an option. Quite a departure from my other groups, where I generally fall into #2 trying to be as colorful as possible.

Still working on this one.

I was thinking more the lines of classy but dorky jazz fusion

My hat is off to you. Anybody that can perform an entire evening in 3" heel boots is a hero to me.
Hell, I'm bushed after an evening just wearing Nikes and casual clothes.
