It's Christmas Day! Who's practicing today?

That would be me. I could take the day off from playing, but I don't want to. Already had to get up early and drive around to take care of other people's cats, and I have a few chores to do to get ready for my dinner guests, and there are more cats to feed later on. But in-between I will run through some stuff I'm learning, just because it makes me happy. How about you, what are your plans?

I probably spent about 3 hours total today running through some various tunes...

I am drunk right now but will be practicing with my new bass (Lakland DJ4). Played it briefly earlier today and was very enthused.

I had too much coffee yesterday, woke up at 1:30 A.M. and put on the headphones and played for nearly 2 hours before going back to bed. I will put in another hour before bed tonight. My Christmas present rig is quite inspiring.

Have my wife's niece visiting who is going to school in Canada. Second time I have seen her she is 19 and said she had been learning classical guitar and her dad plays a bit. So I have been brushing up on my guitar yesterday and today to play for her and may pull out my bass to work on a couple of dance classics for new years gig.

I ran 3 tunes this am, I had the house all to myself as my wife was working and we did Christmas on Sunday. I got a sub gig tonight for my friends jam night.
