Me too...LBS put me on a giilt trip. She made me pick up and read some notation I'm working with. Got the classical music goin in the background though.

I'm taking the family to see "Mary Poppins Returns" this evening, and if I want to drive, I'll need to postpone practice until we get home. But this is the kind of practice where you can get twice as much done in the sam time by lifting doubles, correct?

I've been shedding on the new Dingwall for next week's shows, all week. Today though, my wife gave me an electronic drum kit for Christmas. I've been spending some time playing tunes from the drummer's side of the kit.

I put in an hour this morning. I couldn’t face the day ahead without it. Lol.

I can relate, especially this time of year. I put about an hour in for my sanity!!

I very seldom practice electric bass as my crippled left arm hurts all the time, and playing for an hour makes it hurt even worse. I make it through 45 minutes at Sunday morning worship service without having to stop. I had two shows last summer where I had to play two 1 hour sets. That was as much as I wanted for either day. I do practice a couple of times a week on the upright, just to maintain my calluses somewhat, a half hour at a time. That'll have to do. Merry Christmas!

I’ve thought about it all day but family celebrations are more important. Wantin to try some new strings on the Fodera but it’ll have to wait. It’s all good. It ain’t goin nowhere.

I got a new iPad & it came with GarageBand.
I have to learn how to use it correctly, but did find some cool drum loops & came up with some riffs.
I guess I can call that practicing.

That would be me. I could take the day off from playing, but I don't want to. Already had to get up early and drive around to take care of other people's cats, and I have a few chores to do to get ready for my dinner guests, and there are more cats to feed later on. But in-between I will run through some stuff I'm learning, just because it makes me happy. How about you, what are your plans?

LOL...practice your bass playing on Christmas?? Are you nuts?? Well, I am nuts. I have a rehearsal at noon tomorrow and I'm going over one of the songs now...

Yup, did what I call my mini-practice (45-60 minutes of bowing, scales/arpeggios, and intervals - 3rds, 4ths, 5ths, 6ths). All EUB practice these days, trying to lift my game on the upright.
