It's really hot in here.

Did that for almost a week about a month ago. Shreveport summers are hellish. The AC guy had a queue of people waiting, so it didn't happen as fast as I would have liked. Pumping air out of the house with fans seemed to work better than pushing air in.

Good luck with the heat. You'll survive!

I'm in TO as well and it truly is very humid. The thundershowers sure put on a show!

If you want to feel really refreshed, I'd suggest going outside and getting some cold water all over you. ;)

But if you want to stay dry, your best bet is to drink really cold liquid and stand in front of a fan at max setting.

Had this problem for a while when I was living in one apartment. Fortunately, it was a basement apartment, so it was cooler than the rest of the building, but it was nevertheless humid enough that I could be sweaty all over by just sitting on a sofa.

In the apartment I currently am, although we do have AC, it's not the best you could hope for. There are 100 apartments in this building and because it's so ridiculously hot & humid, everybody's blasting the AC so you end up with some colder-ish air, but nothing that's quite cold enough to compensate for the weather.

Moving into a house in 1.5 weeks and it has AC as well, although I'm sure it'll be much more efficient than what we've had here. :)

Hang in there!

Being in Panama and Nicaragua during their hot season, I think I can take Shreveport. It was 90 at midnight there.

Alright, you got me beat there. It stays in the mid 80's around here, at night. We're having a somewhat nice summer here this year, though. It has actually been raining and it isn't 100° yet. Last year, with the so called "heat dome" over most of the central U.S, it was around 115° every day for a month and a half!

Memphis has been VERY mild this summer. You guys should come check us out when it's about 110 with 95% humidity. It's basically hell on earth.

I remember one time seeing my dad in Cali, and people at his work were saying, "I'm so sorry it had to be so humid here while you're visiting" (referring to the 40% humidity they were experiencing). I just laughed.

Here's a purse for you.
