As for the heat, when I was fat, I despised hot weather. Now that I lost some weight, it isn't so bad. Still makes me uncomfortable, but not like before.

It's 90 so you're fine. Just drink plenty of fluids and stay out of direct sunlight. Also, get some fans going.
Reminds me of several days of hell I endured in Chicago one summer back in the mid-90s.
It was 3-4 days of 100+ degrees, plus humidity, and then with all the concrete around the street level temp had to be pushing 120. We had two fans and one small window AC in our 2 BR apartment and they all ran full-blast day and night and could only get the indoor temp down to about 85. Just ungodly miserable.
IIRC a couple hundred people died in Chicago during that heatwave... a lot of them older people in bad neighborhoods who didn't have AC and wouldn't (or couldn't) open their windows for safety reasons.

It's actually 43C right now with the humidity. Glad I have AC at work.
Closed the vents in all of the rooms of the apartment so the main vent would get all the air and cranked the AC so the dog would be comfortable.

Yup. I'm in TX its 98 right now. I work outside and I get to come home to a house with a broken A/C. My room was 87 with the fan on at 6 a.m.
You guys wouldn't last a minute here!

-40C holy balls.. 30F is too cold for me. Where were you that it was -40C?
It's nice around here right now, so I can't really complain. Typically, it would be around 110F at +50% humidity. When it's like that, direct sunlight feels like scalding water on your skin because sweat won't evaporate at all. I work outside most of the day, so I come home soaking wet from hosing myself down constantly.

It's been a nice cool, if rainy, June here in NYC. Not complaining at all - I'd be happy if it didn't get above 80 all summer, though I think later this week it's supposed to get up in the 90s.
NY summers aren't hot compared to many places but it gets ferociously humid here. The subway on a hot, humid August is not a fun place to be.

It's 91 in Columbus, Ohio right now. It'll probably get a little warmer before it get cooler. The humidity's up there too.
