I've grown a mustache.

Update:

My mustache has really grown on me (spare me the lame pun). I'm really starting to like it a lot. I decided to start curling the ends and turn it into a handlebar mustache, which I wasn't really sure of at first because I really didn't want to come off like I was trying to hard or worst of all, come off looking like a hipster. Then I realized something, by not growing a handlebar mustache just because hipsters grow them, I was essentially being a non-conformist and we all know hipsters are the perennial non-conformists, ergo I'm actually acting like hipster by trying not to be like one. So I decided that I really don't care if hipsters have handlebar mustaches, I really want a handlebar mustache because I think they look awesome, so now I have one.

You're putting way too much thought into this. You look like a fine upstanding citizen, and a charismatic gentleman.

This thread has inpired me to regrow my mustache too btw. couldn't be happier.

Thank you, I feel like I look pretty gentlemen-like myself. Yes you are right though, I was definitely overthinking this whole thing. I have a tendency to overthink just about everything. It's kind of my M.O., but that's just me I guess. Glad to hear you grew your mustache back, that's fantastic!

Well said. Remember that to rebel is to conform.

And as I said elsewhere, the only real hipsters existed only in NY and LA about 10 to 15 years ago. There are no hipsters anymore. It's gone. Once the rest of the country found out what a hipster was the real ones disappeared, so don't worry about becoming one. You can't.

So what then do we call the droves of twenty-somethings living in Brooklyn drinking PBR and pretending they like it?
