I don't see that being stock. It looks professionally done but I doubt it left the factory that way. Cool though.

Someone got really creative and installed a split P, quite close to the mini humbucker. Cut out a bit of the pickguard (not following the shape of the Split P too tight).
Drilled an extra hole for the extra pot (also a bit random)
And replaced the bridge.
Value is about half what it would be without all these modifications, btw

Somebody bought a Gibson that shouldn't have and really screwed it up.
The knobs being off center is because the mod included moving a pot to where the output jack used to be and installing the toggle where a knob used to be. Seems like an SG body is pretty thin to add a side mounted jack.

Visually maybe but it might sound good,
I know split coils blend well with many other pickups.
I'm of the mindset that anytime someone makes a bass their own, I'd say good for them. That includes some of the most outlandish basses I've ever seen... I figure someone had fun... more power to them.
The Bridge isn't original either, along with just about everything else on it. If it's the original case, its value is so much higher than the bass it's self.
I'm guessing the guy who did it envisioned something much better than the finished project because it looks pretty bad on several levels...the bad caulking job really stands out.

Turn down the mud bucker and the mini hum bucker and it’ll sound like a mustang!
I’m sure this bass sounds awesome. That’s all I’m going to say.
