jackson basses

What kinda Jackson did you have, MoBeach?

I believe that the only Kelly basses that were mass produced were bolt on. For a neck through, you'd probably have to snag a CS model.

And about that KE1 on eBay...aren't you only supposed to turn the neck a little bit and wait for it to settle? Maybe they did that, but they phrased it in a way that makes them sound a little impatient. *crank crank crank*

Did you guys see this one already?

Saw it, but I've decided that I want a pointy Jackson. That's just what a Jackson is to me: pointy.
I keep trying to tell the FenderFreaks that P/J just means:

(P)ointy
(J)ackson....lol

as far as that C/S being nice, it is totally but NOT 1000.00 nice....I already have one of those NT's with the older larger headstock and tuners and who cares that mine is a P/J preampped and not a HH EMG config when there is a 800.00 difference in price from what I paid the 3b works for me. :D

Wow! Looks just like mine! With a case and free shipping!

What does he mean in the description... "The original owner installed a micro switch, and eliminated the switched jack for the active electronics."? Something to switch the actives off? Like an active passive switch? Would other mods be required to the electronics for that?

off the top of my head guess??..the dingbat probably just eliminated the 3 pole input jack or broke it, and uses the switch to turn the battery off :rollno:

cause that switch would have to be a 6PDT switch to take the preamp out of the wiring and use the pups as passive, which I highly doubt the guy did.

my FIRST statement is probably true --hahha

who knows....

Somebody wanting a 4-banger should snap that up with the quickness!
although I'm not an Eliminator fan, if it was white, I would have bought it already since my cash flow and Gas are equal again this month.. Good luck to anyone here that is gonna buy it, cause 250 including shipping is a good deal ( TRC gone? has the trussrod been cranked to the point of failure? who knows ) but for the price either way...yep, good deal.
