I always wanted a 94/5 Futura LX Pro NT, but those are very hard to find so I bid really low on a Futura EX Pro BO and surprisingly won the damn thing so now I have both basses listed on page 13 of the 95 Catalog...lol

Sweet!

Haven't posted here in a while, but I am happy to get a new Jackson Concert V Bass....

I still need to tweak it into shape but it already plays great and sounds killer.

Jackson Basses may not be appreciated by some eccentric players but they are great for Hard Rock & Metal applications......

Sweet blue on that Concert V! I have the same bass more or less:

The only things I don't love are the J pup and the preamp; I'm still deciding on the best replacements, but for the pickup it will probably be a second reverse P.

Looks nice - that Purple is cool.
I still need to cleanup & setup my New Concert V. It sounds really good now but I wasn't going to make any preamp tweaks until I get some new strings on it. Why don't you like it???

if you dump the j2000 pre out of that thing BONGO let me know. I have a 2b I'd love to make into a 4b :D

BTW - amimbari - Thanks for your reply last year... I gave up my search when I only found 1 for sale and it was 1200.00. I would still like to find a neck through just to have one, and I really like the shark-tooth inlays.

I still have a concert EX early 90s I think, and a 86 Charvel... Awesome basses all the way..:bassist:

well MK, they do say your suppose to play the things not look at them most of the time, so I wouldn't worry about it. It still is a sparkleGreen TBX, and there still are even fewer sparkle than the painted ones out there and for all we know it could have originaslly been the guitar for the pictures in the catalog, and finally sold to a dealer, and thru the years it passed thru quite a few hands :)

That's awesome, I really like the futura basses. Is it a white one like the bass in the catalog?

yeah, I like it because it has a very nice neck (wide string spacing)
so my short, fat, bass playing fingers can maneuver around.

That sounds like the perfect guitar for me then :D

yes it is..the LX was the NT the EX was the B.O. I would love to ship it to you, but doing the international thing from where I am is very expensive and long lines at the Fedex dropoff place AND THE DAMN SURCHARGE they charge to ship stuff out of that place USA or INTERN. !!!!

Even though it would be nice to have a KipWinger model, it is the same body just minus the shark-neck.

once I get it home and set it up, I'll post a few pics...
