This thread is inspiring! I don't think i have pictures of my stack o' jank. It was a mid to late 80s Acoustic B320 head driving a ratted out Peavey 410 cabinet with metal speaker cages instead of grillcloth and a ginormous bass scoop with a front firing 15 and a giant curved slot underneath. The bass scoop looked like Armageddon, but ultimately seemed to cancel out sound. The 410 was ugly as sin, but sounded pretty good. I used the whole stack for about a year until a much better rig popped up for a decent price. So, the stack o' jank left, piece by piece. The last bit is the unloaded scoop. I can't believe anybody would buy it, so I'm going to try to give it away locally.

My rehearsal rig for about 5 years. Yamaha B-100II and a homemade Ampeg-spec 1-15 loaded with a mystery JBL.
Sounds abfab. Love this amp. Yammy should make this again with a 500-watt power section. Great eq. Fat 'n' warm. Plenty of headroom for rehearsal.

I have a G100-II head (the guitar version) and it's an awesome bass amp. Totally Fender tone circuits plus a one-band parametric EQ. The gain channel is tame by modern standards but it works well for bass (and guitar for low distortion tones).

Oh, my. The bar has been raised considerably since I was last here. Milk crates ... and a boom box speaker??? ... and a banjo! Not sure my rig would make the cut today.

I wish I could be in this club. When I was 12, I got a Traynor head (model unknown) and a Jensen 2x12 cabinet (I was way ahead of our times!) that had a blue sparkle covering! All sounded great to me and I had a 100 Watt + head. I thought I was going pro on a newspaper route budget.
If anyone has a 2x12 Jensen cabinet still, PM me a photo. I'd love to see something like that again.

That acoustic head is 100 RMS, and I can only turn the knob up to about 2 and that's all that little speaker wants to deal with.
I'm anticipating the purchase of a larger (but likely still janky) speaker in the not too distant future.
I'm kinda waiting for that "one" person who will post an amp and a box with 1- 6x9 in it for bass guitar uses

The first amp I ever played through was bird Golden Eagle. It had 15W tube and three 6"x9" speakers. At the volumes we played at it did fine with bass and two guitars going through it.
