Thats the largest group of jaydees I have ever seen. I think there were only three there when i went to johns workshop. Does anyone know the collective noun for three or more Jay dee's..........squadron?

Has anyone ever used the xlr out on their jaydee? I did for the first time last month in a studio, the engineer was blown away. Saud he had never seen such a flat frq read on a bass before.

I think my SN is thirty this year, amazing ive got pics where I look about 12. Mine came from the factory fire lost serial no period, so i've never really known, I think i was 17.

Recently serviced by John and looks as new as the day it was made.

i'm surprise about one thing that is never discuss about the jaydee : the neck is glued like a les paul ! that is pretty unique on the market ! i think it's way important for the sound ...
i agree that people who compare jaydee and alembic don't know what they're talking about . jaydee are not neck through !!! (probably some models exist ...)

and there is a supernatural serie 2 at bassdirect.co.uk . sadly too heavy for my back ! (4.6kg)

Yes, basically two reverse P pick-ups (at least in the older models); the PUs in newer instruments are different, but not exactly sure how they differ.
