- GA24 in Pearl Mint Green, full binding neck / headstock

- Series 3 Fretless Pearl Pink, Dark wood running through the body full binding neck / headstock, gold hardware

Very Nice! My plan is to own Jaydees in all 4 pearl colours e.g. pink, blue, mint & yellow... I still have to order the yellow one... maybe a 5 string.

I finally got a Series III Jaydee Supernatural to join my GA24 that has been with me forever. I really wanted a transparent cherry body with neck/headstock binding and gold appointments.

Very Nice! My plan is to own Jaydees in all 4 pearl colours e.g. pink, blue, mint & yellow... I still have to order the yellow one... maybe a 5 string.

There's at least one more, sort of a champagne/gold color (hard to describe) and the pearl-pink also comes in a lilac variant color, still a good goal, .

Correction two more, forgetting about pearl-white.

Glad you bought it, I was fighting the urge to buy it and slowly weakening. You saved me from upsetting the missus ("another one").

The GA24 is definitely heavier at 10.4 pounds vs. the Series III at 9.8 pounds.

Given they were built 31 years apart, there are some notable differences:
- GA24 neck is much thinner similar to a Jazz bass (I like slim necks) - it is slimmer than my Fender Jazz
- Series III neck is thicker and similar to a Precision bass (thicker than my old precision copy bass)
- I seem to prefer (to my ear) the older pickups as they seem a bit more raw

I'm not sure if others are finding the more recent Jaydee's have generally thicker neck profiles vs. older builds perhaps due to neck issues back in the day?

it is actually darker sounding than the ebony and makes the high mids come out differently....
