These intonation quirks may be a PITA when you're trying to find the ideal string set for a particular instrument and playing style, but once you settle into the right brand and gauge it's no longer an issue and the results are easily worth the effort.

You're right about that. My friend at Buffalo Brothers was just floored by my bass. He just took his time checking it out and asked a lot of questions about the builder. I just turned him on to Jerzy's website and left him drooling at his desk.

The last pic of the redwood top six banger is the bass that I have serious gas for.
I got to play it for a little while at NAMM and all I can say is WOW!!! That is one fine bass.

I rewired the mid selector switch in mine to be an active/passive switch, and what a difference it makes! A passive Drozd through a tube amp is tone heaven...
