John Entwistle!

The Buzzard is still veery much for sale... both Entwistle sig and the Bolt on

And Wiilfer works in Germany, go to the German site, i had a question, and he replied.

thanks, now i can sleep tonight knowing that Warwick is doing their duty.
oh, right, i cant speak German, but, then again, neither could John.

He speaks english very good to.. i havent heard anything about warwick planing to remove the buzzard line, so i dunno where you got that from.. I like the new looks of the Stryker, that head match them so much more.

im GASin for a Stryker right now. those look so cool. especially with the dual P pups in mirror image of each other.

Cool, I am glad to hear that. I must have gotten the wrong skinny from my friends at Bass Central. Its a great bass, even if it is more of a niche clientele.

I had forgotten I'd set up an account on the Warwick forums... I think I went there one time.

There's a guy on the Buzzard Bass site that had a custom neck made for his buzzard bolt neck, with a more "Buzzardish" headstock. The headstock on mine is basically a Corvette headstock, and I'd rather it were more "buzzardish" but I dont want it to have that look enough to spend that kind of money.

LEDs would rock on all of my basses. where can i find them in a store?
WHY MUST THIS WORLD BE SO CRUEL AS TO HAVE STATUS NOT MAKE A BUZZARD????????:bawl: :crying: :bawl: :crying: :bawl:

I don't know where you can get a similar product other than via that web site. I have bought 2 of them (one set on my Buzzard, one on my Walnut Carvin 6 string). I am ordering a set for my T bird today.
I know the B2 is a buzzard inspired bass, but I don't care for the look a whole bunch myself. Nothing like the original!

i can imagine that you would end up spending over $500 easily to get that look. even if it does rock.

I dont know if i would call it Buzzard inspired either, its a John Entwistle design, and apparently he used the bass at alot of practices before the "tour" so it might be very possible that we had gotten to see em live if he hadnt passed away.

And it might be something in the rumours if they say so at Bass Central, they usualy know stuff like that.. but as i said, i have heard nothing, nor seen anything about them cutting the Buzzard line..

I didn't know that... you are a wealth of information my Norwegian friend!

I thought it was probably a derivative product that the status folks decided to run with going forward after John's death... there I go thinking again!

If it's the same bass on Buzzardbass.com, the neck was custom/handmade by Talkbass luthier "count_funkula"

His work is excellent.

His website is [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

he wasn't the reason... but as I sit here tonight listening to "Face Dances" and "It's Hard", I realize that his late 70s / early 80s stuff I grew up with and his Alembic into Sunns is my ideal tone.

This is no social crisis.... just another tricky day for you :bassist:

i sing that line to anyone who is making a big deal and acting like everyone should care. that is one of the tones that i am always trying to get.

the B2 looks like a bad Buzzard. it has all the wrong curves and the body is just weird. it probably sounds great, but, it is funny-looking to say the least.

Yeah, when i become a fan of something, or get strucked by gas for something, it doesnt take me much energy to learn whats to learn about it.

And,
Im a huge fan of John Entwistle, and i guess i will always have a huge GAS for the Buzzards :p

wow, are you sure that we arent like, brothers? i do almost the same thing!
