i think im getting scaringly close to getting down alot of John's style of playing.. im not up to speed at the "typewriting" but its clean when i do. when im playing the custom bass i showed earlier though, not with the P, i have it a bit lower.

okay, but lets not get off track. Johns style is so hard to master even just the basics, its incredible that you are doing as well as you say, so keep going.
i agree with Geddy ruling the Jazz Bass, Jaco handed his place to Geddy.

the worlds greatest understatement is that Les Pauls sound better for WGFA than a strat. in fact, Strats suck, Les Pauls ROCK.

Tommy was the Frankenbass through Sound City heads. Hiwatt was not yet available.

you lost your bottom because John said to turn up the Treble. as a response to your problem, why not use string, attach one end to your fingers, and the other end to the switch? that will most likely solve your problem.

true, but certain amps have tone stacks that act weird, i.e. the bass effects how much signal the treble effects.the 1959 Fender Bassman worked like this.

The band's name is who-dunnit (why do we play the music? Cuz the Who Dunnit!) Invalid Link Removed. The street is about 1/4 mile from my house here in Folsom, CA, there's an entire sub division with the street names of rock and roll people. Oddly, there's no Moon or Townshend streets, but there are Daltrey and Bundrick streets, in addition to the Entwistle Court.
