I don't see any Hellborg amp.
Heh. If Munji wanted one, Munji would have one. Or, at least he'd have one on order.
No pics, no amp. If you can afford the Hellborg amp, you can afford a camera.
Really bad photos off a Digital Video Cam..

I will be trying one out tomorrow! The store I work for got a pre, an amp, and a cab into stock during the week. Tomorrow will be my first shift since it arrived and judging on what the other staff members have been saying, I think it's gonna be a fun dayAnyone one else had the pleasure of playing the Hellborg system?
Just for those who didn't catch the previous Hellborg thread, the list price on the preamp alone is $3,499 USD.
Wow! $3499rrp! the Aussie RRP is $2799.
Not very often the US RRP is more than the AU.
There is a first time for everything huh?

Well I certainly heard the Neve influence. This is a truly beautiful sounding preamp. Ok it's not cheap, but you can instantly hear why......One of the selling points of the Hellborg is that some design elements were taken from Neve recording channels. FWIW there are a lot of companies making clones of vintage Neve designs, and some of them are cheaper. I'm not knocking the Hellborg at all, I'd love to have one myself- just saying it's not the only device around with similar design ideas. It's just the first one marketed to bass players.![]()
What cab did you try it into?I tried the pre/power briefly and found it bright and hard. Didn't do it for me at all. Price aside, the pre is definitely a try before you buy item imo.
