I also found that the limiter in the crest kicks in a lot quicker when running an 8 ohm load on one side of the crest. That is why I opt to run it bridged, but as I stated before, you have to be very careful due to the power it puts out bridged.

How does the Monique balance on top of that stack? I'd be scared to knock it over!
Non-issue, especially since I'm CDO and added velcro to the top of Minnie and the bottom of the feet on Monique.
The stack is plenty stable. That was on a riser stage and it wasn't going anywhere.

I never thought about running a single 8 ohm cab in bridge mode.
Most of the time for gigs I run 2 - ML112s at 8 ohms each, so I assume that its still best to run bridged vs using each channel separately?
Yes. I would definitely run 2- Ml112's bridged with the crest prolite2.0. I run my 4 ohm load now bridged with that amp. Just be careful because it pushes about 2000 bridged at 5 ohms and the ML's in parallel can handle about 900 w.
Honestly, it will be so loud that you would probably never approach that danger zone anyway.

I have used my DC on top of my puma 900 without any Velcro and it is plenty sturdy.
I have also put my DC on top of my gator soft case rack and never had any issue with it sliding either.
In both scenarios, the above setup was on top of 2 stacked cabs.
I just ordered the deeper SKB-R2 rotomolded case.
Found out that the shallow X-Rack was a bad fit for the Monique on the Greenboy forum. I also like the all black front on the R2 better. Eventually i want a custom made rack with the same finish as my Barefaced cab, and a Studio-Slip to cover it up.
I'm also thinking of buying the LAB-Gruppen IPD 2400, so maybe I should have ordered the 3U instead of 2U...

The Protec Rack Bag. Theres a wooden rack case inside with rack rails covered in Cordura. Its lighter than Calzone racks and more portable than the SKBs to me. The SKB type can get awkward when loaded. These are an easy carry and can look less ominous than a rack (in more sedate or formal settings) yet have all the functionality. It doesn't bang up the inside of vehicles. For me it's a good compromise between the mini format and the full on need a roady.

Great idea! I'll be adding Velcro to my own Minnie and Dove Cage. As they say, prevention is the best cure.
That's my nano board. Sonic turbo tuner, FEA dual band comp, TC Flashback delay. That's what I use on gigs where I'm supposed to "play bass." For a couple of other bands where I have more latitude I have a larger board with more toys.

What do you think of the quality of the H6 mics stereo mics on top? Wondering how it might compare to using an outboard .... I have achieved excellent live results into my Audio-Technica AT825 stereo mic, which I suspend on a mic stand in front of the band and send the signal into a stereo Marantz PMD661 field recorder. But I sure like the idea of recording onto six tracks with a device like the H6!

The H6 sounds better than the H4n (which sounds pretty good). The beauty of the H6 is you could put your ATM stereo mic wherever you want and run it to the h6 along with direct feeds from house and or bass. You can also get a module that swaps the built in stereo mic for two more inputs but I thing the stock mic sounds good and is incredibly convenient.
Can you edit the multitrack recording in an external DAW? I read the H6 manual it seems to say exports are in stereo format only. Thanks.
