I'm about to pull the trigger here. Mainly just trying to decide on the form factor. It's "coolest looking gizmo ever" vs practicality/expandability.
I have the dove cage and the rack.... I gig the rack.
The DC is beautiful but the rack is more functional IMO/IME.
Amazing pre any way you go.
I don't think I'll be getting two real soon. Maybe someday. If the DC is sturdy I'm leaning that way. Also for the weight. If I got a good case I wouldn't have to worry about denting it I'm guessing.
At the moment I'm mainly doing two types of gigs, the weddings were I probably wouldn't bother bringing it because I have too much else going on with doing sound and lights, and the bigger corp events where someone else is running sound so I can focus more on aesthetics. The rest is recording where the DC would be easy enough.
