Jule Amps Monique part 4

Seriously though, that's a great ending to the story. A friend of mine recently recovered his daughter's stolen guitar.

I think it would be super tough to move a hot Monique as it is so unique, but the lack of any serial # has always troubled me with the 3 Jule amps i currently own/gig. Tough to prove it is the original owner's even if the thief gets caught red handed with the amp in his/her possession.
Jule, is there any way to differentiate or identify a specific Jule Amp? If not, I may just make up my own and write it on my amps with a Sharpie.

Even with the new Serial Numbers installed, they can be easily disfigured or removed. Most Police will not assist us at that point.
It turns out that close-up photos of details that will distinguish our gear are the best way to recover the gear when we know where it is. Especially with our instruments, the wood grain is readily identifiable. Bamboo Monique is also easily identifiable by the grain.
There are distinguishing markings inside Moniques too, but the police involved were not interested. I suspect others would feel similarly un-interested.
This year there have been serial numbers installed on Monique, but they can be pulled off and defaced. As with most security measures, they keep out the honest folks more than the others.
Excellent pictures (kept at somebody else's house) with details thieves can't identify seem to be the best way to identify our gear.

I have a rack Monique, a Dove Cage Monique and a Paycheck guitard amp... they all look the same to my eyes. I may have to just write a S/N on the bottom as my insurance company doesn't seem to like insuring gear with no S/Ns.
I will send you an email just so we are on the same page if I ever get ripped off and I need proof that I indeed owned S/N 1234567....etc...

That looks great. Do most Police forces and any retailers/pawn shops have the ability to check for RFID?
Monique ready to go again. Outdoor concert series (about 50 different bands over the summer) with multiple venues - this is on "patio" in front of the Chamber of Commerce. No seating, basically people walking around the town. Crowd loved it - the tip bag was overflowing.

According to police reports, recovery rate of stolen items not equipped with a SNAGG Microchip is less than 1%! If you are among the rare owners who know your musical instrument serial number, you would still need to inform every 2nd Hand Dealer, Pawnshop and Law Enforcement Agency of your loss.

What other amps would it compare to?
I have a good friend that has a yen for fine guitar equipment; he is also a stellar musician & person.
He has gone through a lot of amps, but mostly keeps coming back to an Egnater.

Monique and Baer Ml112 playing nice together.
Btw, I used the crest pro lite 2.0 with Monique last night with my Baer ML112 and Dr Bass compact 112. The combination absolutely killed. The Dr Bass with the PRV speaker is a great complement to the Baer. It is a really deep sounding speaker and almost works as a sub with the Baer. Outstanding!
And the crest is absolutely killer. I had a chance to do a real world comparison at my outdoor gig between the puma 900 power section with Monique, and the crest with Monique. Holy Cr*p! The crest killed with so much girth and thickness to the notes. Ghost notes were slamming! And I must have been smoking funny stuf because the crest is plenty loud!!!

No: MBP powered enclosures have the ability to double your output when used with your MB combo or MB head. MBP powered cabinets are designed specifically for use with MB series combos and heads only.

You are 100 percent correct on this and I know you have been saying this here on TB for quite some time but I guess I had to hear it to believe it. I just didn't realize how much of a difference it makes. I was very happy with Monique into the Puma return before, but I definitely have a whole new respect for her now using the crest prolite 2.0! Wow!
