Using a TRS to XLR to go from Monique to the Crest. The Crest seems to not like a TS to TS patch cable.

I figured that out when I bought a $6.00 TRS to XLR cable before I pinged Jule saying his amp sucked.
Sounds amazing and now I have added a 2nd $6.00 cable as a backup.
Different story with my Crown and 2nd Monique, but I think I have that now working perfectly too.
Monique never fails to amaze me. Live show last night with the regular players finally all back in town at the same time. Zoom H6 using the x-y mice at front of the stage, direct line from Monique, and direct feed from the board (one channel with both vox and sax). Haven't really mixed it down - just slapped a compressor on the mains and bounced it out.

Have you tried the Monique with any other poweramps? How do they compare to the Minnie?
(I've read you prefer it to the Tec Amp FX return).

Totally agreed. These are remarkable. It is a privilege to be able to experience them.
A fair amount. I've got the direct channel at about -20 db on the fader, and it has reasonable levels. So the direct is helping, but if I solo the signal from the x-y mic it doesn't sound that much different.
Oddly enough, only one of the tunes is my YYD (with EMG PJ). The other two are dual coils - but I was going for a P tone so I guess it worked

I recently bought a used Monique that was one of first ones made. After talking to Jule about it, he had me send it to him. He brought it up to current specs for no charge and it's like a brand new unit. I REALLY appreciate the support! I'm using an Acousic Image Clarus as the power amp (bypassing the Clarus pre-amp).
