I don't think this applies to me, as I'm not sure I would actually meet the definition of an artist! You mean I'm not allowed to call Jule and Marsha at all hours of the night anymore?

Yeah, of course, something would have to actually go wrong first! So far, no problemos! Then you can keep rousting Jule at 4am at will.![]()
Didn't he play at Coachella?I thought Rousting Jule was a Carvin endorser?

+1.I don't have a rack mounted version, but I sure do love my Tardis 700! Great pre and amp combination. Thoroughly pleased with it.
Sorry I can't add anything further with regard to the actual conversion. But it would seem worth it to me.

I am one of Jules very early customers along with Baird and Chadd and went with the Dove cage and then last year was one of the early ones getting the M700 Standalone. For me this gives me so many choices to use Monique.I can use the DC with any amp I also have plus I can use any pre I have with the M700.Alsowith the M700 Standalone you are able to adjust the Volume with the Master On it where on the Tardis 700 there is no Master Volume so in a way it is at Full Volume and the Line Level will control your Overall volume. While the Tardis 700 is less to carry from the Combo of the DC and the M700 is the Ultimate Swiss Army Knife !!!OK Monique folks,
I'm wondering how many people out there have had the Monique Rack Mount Pre updated to include the 700 watt power amp?
I'm currently running my Monique Rack Pre with a Crest ProLite 2.0. Everything is fine, great tone, plenty of power for me. BUT.........
I'm kinda thinking about options (translation: spending some money on gear). I just got a new bass, so that's out.
I'm thinking about how nice it would be having the 700 in the Monique pre as a one unit solution.
What does Jule change (if anything) on Monique with the conversion?
Let me know what your thoughts are with your conversion.
Yes, the toggle on the back (at least on mine) is to turn the 700 power amp on or off. Yes, the line out is push-pull and so is the Sensitivity. So, on the 700, I am assuming that the second toggle is to turn off the power amp? On the Tardis 700, is the Line Out knob a push/pull type?
I can see those advanatges. Also, the Bird Cage is just aesthetically so damn cool!I am one of Jules very early customers along with Baird and Chadd and went with the Dove cage and then last year was one of the early ones getting the M700 Standalone. While the Tardis 700 is less to carry from the Combo of the DC and the M700 is the Ultimate Swiss Army Knife !!!
BUT, I think you can bypass Monique or the M700 if you want by using the AMP in and LINE out connectors on the back. Of course, you are carrying an extra pre-amp or amp, depending.
