That's ultimately why I reluctantly sold my Noble. I really liked it but Mo (700) is mo' and you don't need no mo' than Mo. I replaced the Noble with a Mesa SDI for those situations that benefit from that form factor but I can just imagine Simone getting her nose in my business for that situation.
I'm using one of the Gator mixer bags and added extra padding to it. I don't recall the model number, but it's affordable. Adding extra padding is a must. I handle my own gear so I'm not worried that it will get trashed because I treat my equipment better than I treat myself lol.

Honestly, I have so many priorities and so little free cash right now. We're reinvesting everything in the band LLC right now and I have the sinkin' suspicion my power amp is currently doing a slow goodbye and I really need a 'beater' Dingwall for roadwork (is there such a thing?). So with that in mind, I really want a rack of this first:

What about Jule stationary. I know there's that.I'd happily advertise a t-shirt.
When people tell me that it doesn't make sense to have a tube rectifier in a preamp, I shrug...because it makes sense to me. I've heard it. I've heard different tubes in that socket and know that it's doing something to create feel. Either way, I'll keep using Jule's stuff and happily reaping those rewards.

Yep. And Jule and I have gone 'back and forth' by mail off and on for the past handful of years as well. I think it's a great thing. Jule knows that we're tied up personally in our chosen vocation, and our tools of the trade. He also knows that as musicians, we don't always have lots of money...so it's a sizable investment in a few ways, so it's a really nice thing that he writes an occasional personal note. Also, my wife thinks it's really sweet.
You know, for as much as my bass is a really personal thing (one of the first things I touch in the morning when I get up every day), my Monique is another thing I've come to depend upon on a daily basis. It's ease of use, dependability and quality of tone are integral to my existence. It's good to be known as a band with good stage sound, but we're also known as easy to mix by sound techs, studio engineers, etc. Mo' has no fuss or fluff to it. It's a box that sits in a rack, it doesn't have many knobs, no sliders, no ground effects, no fans whirring, no effects loops or tuner outs or mutes. Some of the techy info is less stated and instead there's emphasis on diaphanous things like 'feel' and 'tone'. Try explaining the 'Sensitivity' control to other players without getting a quizzical look.
But y'all know I'd say all that.
