Hello Spaceman Ian,
I have two cases I use for my M700 Tardis.
The Zebra Z21 ProAudio - Video Equipment Protection case is a plastic hard shell that fits very well. Indestructible and light! www.zebracase.com
The other is a Gator. I don’t know the model. It has the woven style outer with some hard protection inside. I took this one to a foam shop and had them cut the exact shape of the Tardis. Fits like a glove.

Received the Simone 500 recently, and it’s a mighty fine amp! Also, I can report a dead quiet noise floor in my house at fairly high volume + no fan...it’s a studio situation dream!

I bought it primarily to power my keyboards (Moog SUBsequent 37, Yamaha MX61, and Roland AX Edge) >Bergantino HG410, but it works really well with my bass pedalboards, too...

I've used a Temple Audio (Duo 17) soft case a couple of times - I'm very interested in a better answer!

Do you have a reference for the Pelican case you used?

The 'on' light on my Monique is flickering when it doesn't light up at all. This is not due to a difference in AC power like some users have reported. I did a search but couldn't find info on how to change it.

Iirc, You just need to unscrew the jewel light cover and then you can access the bulb from the front of the chassis.

hey guys, been enjoying my monique for awhile now. In my stay at home mode i am in, it made me start to think, Can i somehow plug the great monique into my stereo at home and enjoy the tubey greatness? I have a vintage power amp with rca ins and some vintage advents that i would love to hear connected to the monique. Is it possible? I know its kinda off topic but i think if anyone would know it would be you fine people. What say you?

There is no reason not to do so, except that even the best of home stereo (that I have experienced) can not do what a Bass Cabinet does. Just as with everything else, make sure to start with levels at zero and go up from there. Reason is that some home audio equipment only accepts very low level - just like some consoles.

The led version of the #47 incandescent bulb is a better choice. I have never had one fail. Started, several years ago, using them instead of the #47 bulb. And the blue color behind the blue lense is kinda nice.

An undoubtedly confusing note: In this picture, the left foot switch corresponds to the red light labeled "Power". My labeling it "Power" has proven a bit befuddling for several good folk.

You can't see it in the picture, but the real "Power" switch is a small black switch on the back, on the right side. That black switch turns the AC on or off to the amp. Technically, the left foot switch and the red light associated with it is an "Amp Ready" light and function.

I labeled it "Power" because more than one player told me (NAMM Shows and such) that "Power" made no sense to them at all. Thinking was, "If it turns it off and on, "Amp Ready" makes no sense at all. It's a power switch."

It's one of those, "If one butterfly had gone the other direction, the weather for the planet would have been entirely different."

Still getting the hang of it but am really enjoying it so far. Except that I underestimated the size of everything. Had hoped for a 3u amp and 1u pre and it hasn't worked out that way.
