Are you saying preamp eq isn't great like the Monique or other than Monique?

We really are all in this together. Good health and fortune to all of you. Yes. Keith's rig is brand spankin' new.

The shop is deemed non-essential, so limited work is going on in a wandering caravan mode.

Time for reflection lately. The important and the not-so are easier to sort. Working with you all, making music, is a wonderful thing.

hey guys, been enjoying my monique for awhile now. In my stay at home mode i am in, it made me start to think, Can i somehow plug the great monique into my stereo at home and enjoy the tubey greatness? I have a vintage power amp with rca ins and some vintage advents that i would love to hear connected to the monique. Is it possible? I know its kinda off topic but i think if anyone would know it would be you fine people. What say you?

You will need two for stereo but Jule would probably be happy to sell you another one. :-)

On the recording side of things how are you guys running a signal path with Monique.

Using line in so you don’t have to attenuate the output and can pull out the volume and sensitivity?

running it through a hardware or software mic pre? Any EQ or compressor plug ins?

I know it all depends but I’m curious what you guys prefer and what is working for you?

I have a pretty low end audio interface that I tend to battle with plug ins in the box to get what I want. Planning to upgrade, so any thoughts or tips would be helpful.

Hi Peter.
As you suggest, the best way is what you decide to do.
Many interfaces are looking for relatively low level (0db-ish) and balanced inputs. Pushing them with too high a level, like a high Line Level can be problematic. In my dark past, I can recall consoles suddenly going dead when too much was jammed into them.

Howdy Jule Amp crew!

Any suggestions for a quality carry bag or case for the 700watt Monique Tardis?

I have a pelican case with foam that I’ve used successfully.

I’ve also used a Mono M80 Pedaltrain Jr case.

I’m curious what others are using and if there’s a better option for me!

I've used a Temple Audio (Duo 17) soft case a couple of times - I'm very interested in a better answer!

Do you have a reference for the Pelican case you used?

Yes. I'd give Susan a call (Studioslips.com). She can do any level of protection you want. And she is familiar with the Tardis 700.
