Been a labor of love, and worth checking out as our vocalist (featured on 9 of the 10 tracks) is awesome. Monique is used on all the tracks, studio and live.

If you played as well as me, you would be too busy to build Moniques due to all of the bass lessons you should take.:p

Susan at Invalid Link Removed not only makes great equipment bags, but she is wonderful to work with. Two days before the NAMM Show I sheepishly called her asking if she could build up two "emergency" Dove Cage Bags for players I was delivering Moniques to at the Show. I was out of stock.

She stopped normal production and got to work on mine. Too late for shipment to the shop, she sent them directly to my hotel in Anaheim.

Bottom line. At NAMM, I hand delivered (in the Studio Slips Bag) Dove Cage Moniques to the "First Call Bass Player in L.A.," Dan Lutz, and to Paul Turner, Bass Player for one of my favorite bands in the world, Jamiroquai. And both (very nice) guys thought I knew what I was doing. :)

Very cool, Jule!

I did a gig tonight and had 3 or 4 musicians come up to me out of the blue asking what amp I was using as it sounded so incredible.:hyper:

Thanks for the info Mitch. I emailed Susan and am hoping to order a Monique/Minnie bag soon.

My bag for Monique is fine but I have concerns with transporting Minnie in my gig bag. Seems that breaking a switch or the fuse holder on Minnie would be fairly easy to do.

Off topic...... If anyone is looking for a Minnie, there are a few new ones on eBay for $900-ish. Good deal if you are in the market and the Seller looks reputable. Not me in any case....

Tim is wonderful. Very glad to be any part of the art of Tim Lefebvre and Tedeschi Trucks.

Got permission from Paul Turner to share this very early, very rough cut of his first few minutes with Monique. He now has his own Monique, but this was done using the borrowed Monique of Dave Swift, bass player for Jools Holland. Another great player and man to whom I am indebted.

This was recorded in the garage studio (in England) of the very funny (ask him what "Dude" means), very talented Rob Harris. Paul Turner of Jamiroquai on bass with just Monique. No compression. No API eq. Just Monique.

Just got my Monique Dovecage back from Jule as it needed a couple of upgrades. Actually, didn't NEED it, Jule wanted to do them as my amp is one of the very early ones.

I forgot how great it looks on top of the Minnie poweramp in any case.

My amp looks so clean, I think Jule pulled a fast one and gave me a brand new Monique!;)

Depends on how you want to use it.
From the specs it looks like it is not recommended for going below 4 ohm load in regular (2 channel) mode or below 8 ohm in bridge mode.

Other than that, it seems to be a match on paper.
I know nothing about the company or the amp's tone or reliability.
