Cool. :cool:

She should always be entirely quiet. No hiss, no hum. I do know this is unusual. I've even had customers concerned because they thought she might be dead.

There are some extra things going on, like a DC filament supply (and some other stuff) that are normally found only in very high end studio gear. This way we get to hear just ourselves, and not the gear.

Monique was just amazing today. 7:30 AM gig. A 5k run raising money for drug education and abuse counseling for teens. Outside, no shell, on the parking lot no stage, sound on a stick PA vocals only.

Trio gig, guitarist/vocalist, drums & bass. Rig sounded just perfect. All the bottom of inside. Had to dial some out. It responded to a very light touch by being thunderous. Clear punchy mids and smooth treble that would give long ringing harmonics.

They mingled stretching, left for start ran, returned to our serenade and ate and smiled and nodded after their 5K. They received their awards and many complemented us.

It's bizarre to be coming home at 11:00 AM even though I've been doing this race since the first one in 1999. :)

I ran a marathon a few years back and the bands playing during my first 10 miles were just annoying. The bands during miles 11-20 were bearable.... And I honestly was so baked between 21 and 26.2 that I wasn't coherent enough to tell you if they were playing metal or polka.;)
