As a P-shop junkie, I'll give you 9.5/10 for that. A bit more grain added and exposure/opacity reduced and it woulda been spot on. Kudos, anyway!!

Joni + Jaco.= Jaco at the very pinnacle of his power. My favorite...one of the 3 albums I would have to bring along to that desert island...is Don Juan's Reckless Daughter.

I think it might be the only video of Pat Metheny and Jaco together? Also loved Hejira. I first heard Jaco on Al DI Meolas' first album,Land of The Midnight Sun, the suite on the second side. For us old guys who remember when he burst on to the scene in the mid 70s' it's hard to explain the impact to the bass community,nobody was playing like that, not Stanley or AJ, no one. I would so love to see a picture of Jaco with his L-2 Steinberger (well, "his"... he never did pay for it, so technically speaking it wasn't his I guess). He said in interviews that he really dug it, but a jazz was home.
