Waiting for a call in the not too distant future to look at the neck profile. Hopefully the inlays are in now as well.
If you don't mind I'll take a decent look at your lacewood when I visit, it looks cool. I'll take some more pics for you if there's been any progress by the time I get there.

a point - its easier to photograph wood figuring by zooming in as far as possible, and stepping back, rather than stepping in, and zooming out. i think there's a thread on wood photography by hambone.

Hambone said:What he means that I meant was to take a focused pic at some distance with the light on the board - outside's good. You'll have a shot of a lot of background and a small piece of wood. Crop that down to just the wood alone then resize it up to where you need it. You'll get all of the figure and it will be clear.
