Just ordered my Dr. Bass cab

Same here, I ordered my BL 210 Feb. 5th, and had a 3u air-head put on it with GK1001RBII bi-amp wiring, my entire rig (wireless-amp-2x10) is going to only weigh about 65 Lbs!! That is 30 Lbs less than just my SWR Work. 4x10 alone! I am also going to get to push 460 watts @ 4 Oms, and could get another Dr. Bass to push both cabs at 700 Watts, that is crazy. I should be getting mine in about a week.
I'm sorry - what was on my mind were the 2-crossover points for the 6" driver and tweeter...hence a 3-way crossover.

Wow. I had no idea so many people like Dr. Bass cabs! This is very exciting. I got hooked with the low price point. Now, I just can't walk away because I love the cabs for what they are. Loud. Big bottom. Maybe not the "perfect" cab (whatever that means, expensive I guess) - but it's the best cab I've ever found for myself.

Just snagged a neo RX212 that was on ebay.
I saw that one, I hope he puts more up for ebay, easy to snag, and usually a little less in price.
I ordered a BL212 about 2 weeks ago to go with my gold fronted BL212. 4x12" speakers powered with a 3000watt power amp. I'll be running them in stereo mode but with the cabs stacked. Got Delta LF's in one cab and the new one will house 2 Deltalite 2512's. Should sound OK??

2-09-07 Order/ details confirmed, both cabs are to be modified for vertical stacking.

3-09-07: the 1060 shows. A week later than the original estimate, but not bad.

Marc was right. Each cab alone sounds great with its own flavor, but combined - - -Dammmnnn!
I get the LMK to about 40% sending capacity, and its absurdly loud (and robust, and dynamic, and clear).
Cant field report for a bit, seems like this year, whomever I gig with/sub for are hibernating for the winter.
Maybe make some calls, I need to beat up on a guitar player with this rig!!

Not sure it will be necessary.
The tilt angle isnt very steep, and the rubber feet of the head grips on that rhino lining finish pretty well.
However, Ill probably do something to play it safe.
I was considering attaching a couple of velcro strap loops between the head and its rear feet with the feet's screws.
The loops could latch to the sunken handle on top.
I might just glue little rubber pads on the cab as stoppers.
It wont take much.
I doubt I'll tilt the 1060 when part of the stack.
Kind of wish I had the tilter put on 112 as well.
It may be better suited as a stand alone cab.
Cool. I was thinking more in terms of vibration from the cab causing the head to move around. This happened to me once and the head took a dive off the cab. I started using a 2" foam pad to dampen the vibrations. Can't wait to get my 2260 with the Beyma upgrade!
I have a cab that has a handle on the bottom that can be used for tilting the cab back (which I use all the time).
I use a 1" piece of foam and two bungie cords (cab side handles are in just the right place) to keep my rack-cased head from going anywhere.
i ordered a 210 cab from dr bass in may.i also ordered a 12 " cab in july. its september. ive heard nothing but excuses from marc and staff. is this normal with them.soon i'll have to cancel my order.im losing money in rentals.***? anybody else have this problem?
