Know It Alls

What you're seeing is caused by a lack of confidence. Remember these are people who rely on the trillions they get from welfare and other forms of the Oldest Profession. And are still broke.

You have a couple months left. Then you'll be fighting bias in the work place for the rest of your life. Get used it.

The fact is they don't have these problems in Saudi Arabia.

Do you ever actually read some of the crazy-ass stuff that your punch into your keyboard and then hit "send"?

Don't know why you can't say something.

I don't let other people's insecurities limit what I say or do. The professor is paid to NOT only know this stuff but also to explain it in a way that'll make sense to me.

Insecure students can sink back into their seat as I'm not paying them and therefore don't care what they have to say/think.

If it persists, I'd be very condescending and even verbally aggressive by saying something along the likes of "Excuse me, but I'd like to hear from the guy who happens to have a DEGREE in the subject, if you DON'T mind!"

I'm positive that this little tidbit would instantly snap them out of it.

I haven't said anything and just eat it - what am I going to do?

OK, here's what I would do. In my best Quentin Tarantino ala Jimmy in Pulp Fiction voice, I would say, "Excuse me ladies, I appreciate your enthusiasm. I really do. But could you do me a favor? Could you stop being pedantic douchebags, please?"

That should do it. My cousin works in a law firm. From the stories she tells, you are gonna need to grow a really big set of brass pelotas. And her coworkers really are ignorant, lazy, pass-the-buck, selfish d-bags. Good luck!

I'd do something like this as well.

Instead of QT, Id go Kanye... "Ok, hold up know it all, Imma let you finish, but the teacher had on of the best lectures of All Time. OF. ALL. TIME."

What if he's right?

I know a lot of grad students, and the majority of them aren't on welfare. In fact, I can't think of a single one who is on welfare...unless you consider Stafford loans and the stipend from a graduate assistanceship "welfare." Graduate school implies that you already hold an undergraduate degree. These people aren't generational reliefers. If that's too anecdotal, I'm sure statistics would back this up.

Bananawik has a history of giving these outrageous social commentaries on how feminism and affirmative action are ruining the world. He backs his claims up with exactly 0 amount of evidence. Unless everything he says is just satirical and none of us can pick up the sarcasm...ya know, Poe's Law 'n all.

That's what the feminists Illuminati want you to believe.
