My 44-01 with US Barts and Audere preamp. I still have to drill a hole for the Z-Mode switch on the preamp. It is tucked away in the cavity for now.

I used to have a 55-01 in CAR/Maple. It was a great bass, but a little too heavy for me.

I've been waiting for you!

You're the reason I went with the US Barts.

I don't think I could have done any better...

Thanks!

Here is my 55-01. Right now it's got Nordy Fat Stacks and a Seymour Duncan preamp. I'm not a big fan of the pre, so I'm gonna change it out. Not too sure to what yet. It'd be cool if I could get an LH-3 and rig to work smoothly with the Fat Stacks.

Nice bass :smug:

Price:
$200.00 for the US Barts
$200.00 for the LH3 + install (Lakland kept all the MK1 stuff)
$44.00 to ship FedEx Ground round trip with FedX account (only took a day to ship)
$25.00 for Lakland setup
$700.00 for the 5501

Total = $1,169.00

Wait:
Roughly a week. I told Brian to delay shipping because I was out of town.

Pictures - as soon as I get out a here...

How much was the LH3 pre-amp, and who did u have install it?

I found your answer on page 5. I know I'm not SuperTanker but hey, I'm the next best thing.:D

*I have finally decided that my 44-01 deserves a hardshell case of its own. Right now I am carrying it in a G&L Tribute gig bag. These gig bags are awesome but I feel it is a bit insulting (at least no one will be tempted to steal it though).

*You guys got any suggestions for a decent form fitting case for a Lakland 44-01? I have tried a few different ones but they all don't seem to fit quite right. I want something that will hold the body snug and give good support for the neck.

have you tried the SKB "Fender" cases? I believe a 44 series would fit as well....

Hey guys.

I am planning on getting a 55-01 in july and i was wondering where the best place to get one is. I am in Australia and it will cost me $3000aus to get one, so i would rather get one when i go to PA.
I am also tied up between the Three Tone Sunburst or the Natural.

Cheers guys and i look forward to joining the club later this year.
