Well, here is a repost of mine...but something interesting did happen yesterday. I got home from work and the Mrs. was waiting at the door for me. She took me by the hand into my music room and started apologizing. It appears that while she was cleaning, my JO5 was accidentaly knocked off the stand. No real damage, a very very small, light scratch on the lower horn, that is not really noticeable unless you really look. She felt awful and told me to mkae up for it...go ahead and buy my 55-02. So, I will have a 55-02 on the way to me by the end of the day. I told her it wasn;t a big deal and not to worry about it, but she insisted. Anyway, my twins today.....

I'm sitting here listening to the DJ5 clips on Laklands webpage, and I have never gas'ed this much for a bass that I actually have paid for! Come on whom ever is shipping them to Basscentral, So basscentral can ship it to me! :D

Cant wait to join your club (Black Hardware have allready been shipped from Hipshot :p)

So you all know that I need to get my fretless in to have it coated and I need to get the 55-07 in for a set up.....I wanted to make it sometime this week but work got the better of me (some $$$$ making and some not....let's just say, I HATE computers and the troubels they cause!!!) so no go....

I am going out of town for 2 weeks on a project and a conference (speaking and attending) so it will be 3+ weeks BEFORE I can even get them there...and THEN 3+ weeks before I get them back!!! argh!

the praise leader was asking about the fretless last night at practice....told him it would be a while.....

yup, terry found it for me. he knew i was looking for a black and maple glaub, so he picked it up for me.

it needed a little love when i got it, but im absolutely loving it now.

in fact, i have neglected all my other basses this week since i got it.

ive gotta post a new pic of it this weekend, its sporting a black pickgaurd now.

yup.....the DJ5 is a sweet bass!!! I will probably get another on someday...

OMG, incubus was just on tonight show, and Ben Kenny had that sweet lpb dual j with matching headstock and gold hardware. i recall doug and greg taking a picture of it during a trip to lakland.

if i recall correctly that was a 35" scale bass? anyways it looked sweet and they were playing new material, so im double psyched:hyper:
