I think it's the angle/lighting thing too, in person it's real dark.

It's supposedly due before I die... chances are by the end of the month barring any other setbacks. I've been rethinking the whole j-retro/humbuckers thing. I may swap it out for a passive plate with a push/pull for single coil/humbucker eventually. I just dig passive so much more than active. Maybe throw on a stellartone.
