Anyone have experience with both the Humbucker and Single coil Chis? Which do you prefer? I remember in one of the Q&A vids Dan said he felt like the singles have a wider freq. response.

Yep...I have both. Humbuckers have thicker tone in humbucker mode, but thinner that straight single coils in single coil mode. I love them both...just in different situations. Nothing is butter drenched in the way Chi humbuckers are. Nothing quite like the growl of straight Chi singles. With my 4-07, I can switch to single coil mode, and then play with the LH3 to make it thicker, but something about the straight singles. The humbuckers do seem a little more compressed.

Alright, I'm finally on board over at the LOG... after expressing interest originally, but missing out on the inaugural launch some time ago. I was on a self-imposed bass forum hiatus for a while to avoid GAS :)

Anyway, I noticed in the registration over there the mention of the LOG #. I had a Lakland club # from long ago, but guessing the official LOG # is different?
