Hey, new guy here...

I guess I should post mine.

Lefty USA Lakland Joe Osborn 5-String... translucent butterscotch blonde, quarter-sawn rock maple neck, swamp ash body, rw fingerboard with birdseye dots, passive Lindy Frahlin p'ups, stacked 2-knob, tortoise-shell guard.

After some discussions with some other lefties, it may be one of only TWO lefty JoBo Fivers ever made. The other one was owned by Chris Chew who sold it to another lefty friend of mine.

Lefty USA Lakland 55-94... swamp ash body, curly (quilted) maple top, bird's eye maple board, quarter-sawn rock maple neck, tobacco-burst (vintage two-tone) finish, Bart p'ups and pre-amp.

LOVE THE JO5!!! And, the 55 is just like mine...I love the color AND the Barts!

I just wrapped this up and paid for it today (I have the best wife EVER)
55-Dual JCS passive in Shoreline Gold with a bound and blocked rosewood board. Come on....say it with me...Hell to the Yeah!!!!!!!
Hope to pick it up next Saturday.

If I run my 5502 in passive mode with a Sadowsky outboard pre, will i be able to get alittle closer to the sadowsky sound?

Bringing this up from the previous page in case anyone has the answer.

a sadowsky pre will get you closer to the sadowsky sound... so would a sadowsky bass. I have the sadowsky di and I don't quite get the sadowsky sound from it with my DJ. It's close, but I don't want it to sound exactly like a sadowsky.

yes.
I would also tap to the rear coil on the MM for more sadowsky goodness.

Hey Guys.
I posted these in the DJ5 thread but thought i might as well add them here.
I had to take off the PG as im sending to off to get a black one made and im getting the Nordy NP5 put in at the same time.
I was really surprised at how nice it looks without the PG.
If i wasnt getting the NP5 put in i think i would just fill the holes and keep it like this. It was after seeing it like this that made me decide on a plain black PG.
