Okay I have a question for all you Lakland gurus ;)

I was watching a review on lakland.com under multimedia -video gallery - LH3 44 Demo QT

Based off that review, the 44-02 (along with the 4-94, 55-94 and 55-02) comes very close to a Fender Jazz, Precision and MM Stingray.

Has anyone done any hands-on compairisons of the different basses as demo'd in this video? How close does one of the mentioned Laklands (mainly the 44-02) really come to the "holy trinity" :cool:

I'm planning on getting a 44-02 and I'm pretty pumped that it could offer that kind of versitility.

Not sure if a 44-02 can totally cure my recent GAS for a MM Stingray SLO special though :eek:

Not sure if this is the appropriate spot to post, but I'm in dire need of a new double bass guitar gig bag. I got one when I bought my 55-94s about 10 years ago. Does anyone know who made those bags (the red ones)? My hazy memory tells me they were made in Colorado, but I may be wrong.

Has anyone had any experience with the iGIG 515d? I saw it on the mikobass.com site. Any other suggestions for (2) bass bags? Non-animal materials would be good. Thanks!

I have tried both the iGig double and the Mono double. I now own the Mono...Lighter, better built and I think easier to use than the Mono. www.monocase.com

Just ran across these photos from my wife and my trip to Chicago last fall. She let me drag her down to the Lakland shop and she even had a good time talking with Brian while I had an even better time rocking this LPB US Decade and a couple of DJ's. The trip, the people and the basses sold me on Lakland for life. Thought you guys might be interested though they aren't great pictures
