We should discuss this some more!!!!![]()
Well my first Lakland is on the FedEx truck out for delivery today. It's a fretless 4-94 that bought from Brim.![]()
I never get tired of looking at those girls....
I still need a number!![]()
We will. It's all dependent upon if I'll be keeping the Dunn, and that'll take a few weeks to determine.

FOR THE WIN!
Update: They are still waiting on the pickup to be delivered from Nordstrand. They thought they might see it yesterday, but no dice. The LOG Style #4 pickguard (made locally) is done and I was told that it looks awesome. I having a bone nut installed while they wait for the pickup....
If the pickup comes in today, maybe I'll get it by tomorrow?
Welp, think I may be selling my '78 Ibanez to help fund my next Lakland purchase...
Well my only hesitation is that it would leave me with my fretless P as my only backup for my 44-02D. That isn't really a problem per se, but does make the situation a bit more uncomfortable. And damn does that old Ibby sound gooood.
Luckily I've yet to NEED a backup for a show, but I always bring one regardless.

Skyline HB. Still got a ways to go for the funding, but still shooting for first of the year![]()

Have you ever noticed how you never seem to meet anyone who lives in the "early" section of a FedEx/UPS route? Seems like absolutely everyone is destined to live in areas where they don't deliver until the evening. Maybe they make all their business/commercial deliveries in the AM and residential in the PM.
Thats true. Many people aren't home during the day, so they go to businesses during that time. I guess most non-Lakland fans don't call in sick to wait for a package.
That is one of the reasons I've started having important items shipped to a nearby UPS store. No hassles.
Well just as I posted above the doorbell rang and it's here. It's a beautiful instrument and my first impressions are very positive, I'll know more tonight at rehearsal but I think I've made a great choice.
Props to Brim for selling me a fantastic bass. Here's a pic he took:

a few posts up JJ was talking about spooning and a dog....
yeah, I wouldn't say they were hit with the ugly stick...but it looked like someone built a house with nothing but ugly sticks...and they went in the house, and the whole house fell on them
