GLAD the stock knobs are on the HB!!! I like (REALLY like) the new knobs on the Decade....

BTW - interesting carpet contrast with the Decade....kinda a 1960s "laugh in" thing going on - the Decade actually fits ight in there.....

OK...Stock knobs are back on the Hollowbody.
I think I do like them the best. I did find some cool ones for the Decade though! I think they totally fit the style of the bass:

That's the downside I guess. All guards they do are pretty mcuh custom cut so you need to send in the original guard or a tracing.

Since Jeannies is the Lakland guard maker they have accurate templates. However with an early one like you have even using Jeannies I would consider sending that guard in because I think they are not 100% the same as the newer ones since Jeannie started supplying Skyline guards.
+1, when i bought a guard for the lpb that you have it did not fit.

WAIT A FUNKY MINUTE HERE......I THOUGHT you got JohnnyAlien's bass....you got the PJ?????

oh yeh.....major congrats!!!!

Yes it is a tad confusing. That bass minus the jazz pickup is really similar to the one I just got right down to the really nice figured rosewood board.

I just got Terry's LPB Glaub and I am not sure who sold the P/J one.

Mine will definitely not go anywhere as I have been searching a long time for a LPB Skyline. It was like my grail bass.
