Hey, Any way I can get a number to the best TB club?
Here's my 2008 Skyline DJ4...
...and my 2009 Skyline DJ4...
I just love these basses! They have subtle differences, but both sound great - and of course play great. The GK rig behind them is my gig rig (I don't play HUGE venues). 500W bi-amped through 2 12' Neo drivers. It moves some air! Peace in the groove... Greg
not tryng to "rub it in" (OK - MAYBE a "little")....But at least WE CAN visit the shop once in a while!!!!

you are welcome down any time! GregC and I LOVE to go to "the shop" so whenever you want, let us know...Lakland does like to have a few days notice of visits but that can be arranged VERY easily!

yup.....dj5 made the dj4 redundant...eventhough it was crazy light. Been wanting a PJ...it worked well...the fact it matched the DJ is coincidence...heehee

I compared my 44-02 with a 44-01 last night and I liked the 01 better. It was definitely more aggressive sounding, and I've begun to rethink my opinion of my amp. The guy who owns the 01 wants to trade basses along with an amp and a POD. I think I'm going to do it.
Another bonus about this particular 44-01 is that it's a bit lighter. Since I'm an out-of-shape wuss, this is a good thing.

OK...Stock knobs are back on the Hollowbody.
I think I do like them the best. I did find some cool ones for the Decade though! I think they totally fit the style of the bass:
