Dang, Jody! I didn't realize just how many Lakies you have now, your collection has really grown! Great stuff, too.

Thanks. Yeah, I have 7 now. Been pondering letting a couple go, but I just don't know if I can do it.

I think I'll go ahead and have Carl shave the Goblin's (my red P's new name :D) neck down to about 1.65" nut width and put the US finish on the back, and install a bone nut cut for BEAD tuning. After that, it'll be a "Lifer" for sure. But, first I'm going to play the hound out of it for a while! :bassist:

There have been a lot of new pics here, so I thought I'd share one mine. Any pics from the austin GTG yet?

Anybody getting the LOG BG5 with rosewood and a Tort PG? I would love to see that combo.:hyper:

I think I'm going with that or a skyline BG4 3TB and a tort gaurd.

opinions?:help:

Well, looks like you're already a 5er player, so I'd get the BG5.

As far as fretboards are concerned, I don't know how the butterscotch, tort, RW w/ pearl blocks would look.... might clash :hmm:.

Ah! so it's butterscotch. I'm guessing that more yellow tinted than natural. The Tort may look a little off then. A Peral guard to match the blocks may be the way to go.

as far as the 5 goes, I'm more in need of a nice P bass than another 5'er. But it is deffientaly interesting.

Anybody have mock ups of the LOG with alt PGs? Does Markus still charge for those? I remeber he did some back when the Teal LOG bass was in the works.

If I went Rosewood, I'd definitely go for a Pearl guard. That would look HOT!

Hey, that pickup is the Fender-esque asymmetrical one.

I just picked up a new Fender Am Std P-bass V, by the way (no pics because I don't want to contaminate all these pretty Lakkie pics), and I love the asymmetric pup. Once the LOG bass actually arrives, I'll be interested to know if it gets the Fender sound. If it does, I may think about switching.

It's only that way in the mockup, the Nordy looks like this (and sounds FANTASTIC)....
