Wow, guess the sig models have already been renamed.
But I wish they used another system to name the basses! I have enough trouble memorizing numbers as it is!
Actually, I like the numbering system. I found that the old system was way too much of a pastiche. Now, it all fits, even if the numbering system's a little less than... clear.
Oh, and I'm glad they changed the 4-94 to 44-94. The old number was yet another unconformity that I'm glad has now been fixed.
I've just sent the new management an e-mail because Dan had agreed to fix my longstanding issues with Amber North, and I'm unsure as to whether JP and Bo will honour that agreement. Got my fingers crossed...

Thanks - just got it. I've been missing my old Lakie that I sold about 8 years ago, so I finally "broke down" and got a new one. Honestly, these Skylines are amazing basses, regardless of cost.

Fabulous news! I just got a reply from JP saying that they're honouring Dan's agreement with me! I guess I can go back to talking up Lakland to anyone who comes up to me at a gig.
Well it certainly seems like the new guys in charge are doing their best to maintain Lakland's reputation.

Yes...I received a PM...I was supposed to submit it to the helpdesk. I didn't know about that rule. I guess I read them like instructions
So, per the thread over at the LOG, delivery for the LOG bass will now be October - December? That is a serious bummer, I was really pulling for August.
Having said that, I hope that everyone at Lakland is doing well and keeps doing what they are doing!

yeh - me too BUT I will tell you that this is actually GREAT news....I was concerned that - with "only" 16 or so orders the entire thing may have crashed and burned....John says he will do his best to get this done ASAP.

thought about an ebony neck swap for Blondie....but am not sure it will look right now...
i like ebony. it looks ALMOST as cool as BEM but [obviously] in a different way
my only concern is that round strings (I dont'know what they are, the bass came with them. The silk thread is metal gray with a greenish tint) leave marks on Nessie and that started shortly after she arrived. I might use halfrounds but don't want to sacrifice highs
