Now, you see? we agree on everything (aside from those cream pickup covers).
Let's start a band.

i like ebony. it looks ALMOST as cool as BEM but [obviously] in a different way
my only concern is that round strings (I dont'know what they are, the bass came with them. The silk thread is metal gray with a greenish tint) leave marks on Nessie and that started shortly after she arrived. I might use halfrounds but don't want to sacrifice highs
You can't. Markus can forgive you lots of things, but the pickup will stand between you and the band![]()

But, but we both even have the whole graphic designer thing going on...
EDIT: That's a lie: I *was* a designer for a decade, but burnt out and now I do words rather than visuals.

So does this renaming thing mean that the Darryl Jones will come back, but as a 44-7.. something.. ??

Hey, uh... anyone know what the bass is in this vid? The bridge (and in some spots, headstock) make it look Lakkie-ish, but thhe controls kinda leave me all confuzzled.
Tommygunn:
no worries unless you want to join the esteemed LOGgers soon!
I cannot see anything changing....
I think mine would have to be a pre-hanson. More over pride. Like pre-gibson steinberger in a way.
I would think about getting the LOG bass for my first lakland (skylines don't bother me) but I just can't justify a pricey 5er. And if I do get one... it'd be from bassemporium![]()
I saw Chicago probably 13 or 14 years ago (way before I knew about Lakland's existence). It was one of those outdoor summer shows that I never would've went to if I hadn't been invited by a group of friends. I was blown away by the bassist's playing AND singing ability!! He's phenomenal!
Yep!
