cool!

I have a friend who buys all of his Martins from Sweetwater and another who buys his Taks from Sweetwater...I hear they are great to deal with!

better order one of those fast...Leo told me they are almost all sold out!!!

FYI, Sweetwater Sound is now a Lakland dealer.

I'm thinking about picking up a 55-60(JO5) in the LTD Teal Green Metallic finish. :bassist:

Typical "Big Gov't/Big Corporate" answer....."we cannot (WILL NOT) fix the problem....our product is good...YOU are not using it properly"....(what they REALLY are saying...in a "nice way")

aren't you glad Lakland never responds that way?

Dunlop c/s replied already:

'' I'm sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience with your 1st set of Dunlop Strings. While Dunlop Strings will work fine on a 35" scale bass strung thru the bridge, going thru the body is a different issue. You may want to try stringing them thru the bridge. I think you'll find that the B-string is focused and the entire set is well balanced with a very clear fundamental. ''

Just pulled out the Skyline JO after a long hybernation - dang that is a great playing bass.
8lbs, one piece ash body, Fralins, real skinny neck. Heck, I might like it more than my US JO.

Gratuitous pics -

cool...will have to figure it out....yeh they freak out at any protein!

why is it tougher to bring in a Skyline than a US? just curious...

If it's not made in the US, it's not Kosher according to NAFTA. It's not really a drag bringing the Skylines over, but if the package doesn't say 'Made in USA/Made in Canada' on the shipping label, it can get dinged at the border as a non-free-trade item.

not sure if I could make the case that a couple of elk steaks were made in Canada, either...

My guitarist's newish guitar was almost a Martin. Then I pointed him towards the Taylors, and it was all over. He's happy as hell with his Taylor, and if I ever have a little guitar money hanging around, I'm getting one too. No question.

Yeah...When I order anything from them...they call me to ask if it is to my liking. I feel like a king! Hand me a turkey leg!!
