Strong words, my friend! That's an endorsement if I've ever heard one.I can't put mine down! The Neo Punch pickup is in a tie with my Darkstar'd Lakland P! It's that damn good!

VERY nice......NOT many! love the shoreline gold...I know this is no longer a typical "model" but JP told me the other day that people CAN order lipstick pickups if they wanted!
Maybe someday i will get a Scheff.....someday...it is about 3-5 on a list of 10-20 lakies that are "must haves"
oooooo.....I just thought of "bookends" one Scheff Inca Silver and the other Shoreline gold! for some reaosn I love those colors on Scheffs the most!

Loves me some Chisonics! I had a fretless US JO CS and really loved it...nice and thick mwah when favoring the bridge, and nice thump when favoring the neck. I just don't play fretless that much. Ian...the dude that did the clips for Lakland has it now so maybe he will chime in. I say DO IT!
Maybe I should post this in the Chi-love topic, but I think I'd have better luck in this topic with the following question: could you please share some experience or opinions with me about the combination fretless and ChiSonics?
Since I like to build/assemble my basses myself, I've planned to build a fretless hollowbody with ChiSonics. I almost know for sure this will be a stunning combination and end up in a powerfull expressive fretless, but I would like to hear some opinions.
I've ordered a box full of Chi's from Bo, so I will be busy the coming months.Have planned 3 CS-basses for myself and more for others.

if anyone has seen Scott Pilgrim VS The World or read the comic... guess what i did all day yesterday after i ordered my Lakie?![]()

my impression of Chi singles on fretless is: deep, meaty, powerful and growly. The high end is a bit cushioned though. It's like a transition between еру P and J, but more produced and corpulent
I haven't seen it yet, but TB's own JMJ helped perform the bass battle and related an amusing story about it.if anyone has seen Scott Pilgrim VS The World or read the comic... guess what i did all day yesterday after i ordered my Lakie?![]()
Cool, hope it goes well and you come away with some good pics.My band has our first ever show in Bean Town tonight! I'm super pumped. I'll be rocking my 44-02 all night, will post action shots if they ever make it to me!
Count me in on that particular questwe'll let you pass this timeI've also a Skyline Decade coming my way, but this will be the ride for the ChiSonic Hollowbody pups:
(sorry for the non-Lakland-pic, but hey, there's big Chi-Love here)......I (for one) abd VERY interested to see what you think.....if it works, I MAY need you to work on a semi-hollow 5 fretless for me.....maybe....
