LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #49

I meant right hand. I'm not really that confused, just the old drill sergeant trick of calling your right my left as I'm staring at the screen. DOH!

headstock? Marcus, you're a graphics person. I mentioned to Pat Wilkins (www.wilkinsguitars.com) that it seemed to me that dark basses w/ maple boards needed, from an asethic point of view, that dark headstock to give the bass an asthetic "yin/yang" balance.

I had him shoot the headstock in dark currant pearl as well. I'm curious to see if a Lakland sticker reappears! But it had to be done, imho.

Am I high? Or do I SUCK like Grateful!?

I was making a reference to JJ's room for one more guard as a joke, but since we are talking about matching headstocks. For me...I generally like matching headstocks with rw boards, but I had a black DJ with a maple board, and liked it too....really depends on the color, and how busy the rest of the bass is. Yeah....he will put the Lakland logo back on the headstock.

Aside from the great playing and sound, that clip just reminds me of how brilliant Dan and the rest of the early crew were in choosing the oval bridge, immediately identifies that bass as awesome, haha.

Good find Orlando :)

Oh but some folks think that bridge makes em look hideous and ugly! LM*@O!!

I didn't dig the bridge at first, but now it's like you said.

Rocked out tonight with my singer/guitar player friend and a new drummer. Drummer's a soul/gospel player with a sick NASTY pocket... he really brought such a unique perspective into the prog-punk thing we've been doing. First thing he said was "man, that bass sounds killer!" The LOG bass strikes again!

She just kills in the mix!
