It's been a while... However, I managed to land the "JS Guts" listing here on TB recently. More importantly, that package included the Armstrong Lipstick pups that my CAR Fretless was lacking.

I even took one from the Scheff family just to help me with the competition. Scheff Family -1, me +1 = two birds with one stone...

Do these come in more colours? on the site it only shows them in one colour.

They do...the you can get either color with the Bigby bridge.

Amber 4-94 Deluxe from around '96-'98 (my best guess) w/ old Barts and BEM fretboard hanging in the Knoxville GC...... BUT.....:-(..... it has a strange bend at the 5th fret (not relief) and the truss nut is an old Fender style kind that looks like a large Phillips screwhead. Also, the back of the neck has way too many scars that indicate some moron just flat out did NOT know how to maintain and take care of a fine instrument.

Did you go see it? Glad to know it wasn't just my eyes that saw that weird bend.

And sorry for the 5 string snobbiness. And I wish the EBMM classics had wider string spacing, that one in GC (the pink one I think) just looks so cool!

Yeah Chris I saw it..... like a 10 degree bend at the 5th fret. Then I saw the vintage Fender truss nut and it was obvious the neck was a total loss. I didn't plug her in either, so I can't call you a 5er snob I suppose ;-).

Those MMs have some gorgeous looks huh? With their vintage tint flame and birdseye necks and boards! I've noticed that mine's neck pocket and nut work aren't as good as my US Laklands, but the slap tone and sound in the mix are exceptional.

It's all Chrome...OK. I'l clean it off...here.

Cut two screw heads off and put some light adhesive on them and place them into the holes, this will complete the look without having it screwed in, I like it - but don't like the empty holes, I know - picky but it would just finish it for me and still be removable and have not altered the bass.

Just bought a 55-02 on Ebay today. Can't wait t get it. First Lakland and first five string. Should be a good way to get my feet wet.
