hmmm, an interesting idea...
on the other hand, Lakland being to a very large extent a highly devotional small 'family' business, wouldn't even more proximity to the US line ultimately kill the US line?
I hope I made myself clear enough, English is not easy sometimes... after apple cider... and red wine...hiccup...

This was our first time watching from a large private third floor balcony. The host had a live band playing outside as well. We had a blast!

^ The mod for the side jack is already done. A previous owner had added a Bart NTBT pre to it and moved the jack to the side of the bass. It sounds good as it is, but I really wanted to try the Retro. I'm hoping it will match up well with the Nordys and let their inherent tone shine through a bit more. Best results for me would be to get it close to an old school passive sound,..but with more flexibility tonewise. Yeah, I know,...asking for a lot here,.best of both worlds!
The J-retro is really a good pair with the DJ...I loved mine...very transparent....

Me neither! working on a little popping but that is about all I can do....I know guys who can slap really well and they try to show me how but I am all thumbs......well actually, that would HELP wouldn't it????

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between a DJ4 and a JO4 skyline?
I don't see a ton of difference, but I'm trying to find a 4 string J-bass to back up my US Lakland Glaub. I used to have a DJ4 in LPB, and I liked it, but if there's something different about the JO4, I'd be interested to know before I buy one!

I'm looking at a limited edition JO4, teal green, with the BnB. So really, it's just the difference between the body styling of the 60's versus '75 body?
