Posted thios on the LOG but I love this bass so much i thought I would let y'all see it here as well...
I really think it "finishes" the bass!
I wish Photobucket did not "dumb down" the pics....these look so much better in high res!
Looks quite classy, though I actually like the plain black knobs on mine. I think the chrome knobs go better on Chi-equipped basses because of the chrome-looking pups.
Do those knobs have indicators on them? I actually depend on the indicator lines on my black ones to help dial in a consistent tone each gig.
Don't think I've posted pics of my LOG bass yet. Forgive me if I have. But I DO love it!

Thought Lakland was going to offer a 34" scale on 5 strings? Brian just emailed me and sd they no longer offer this option! Apologize if this has already been discussed!

That's really a shame. I have started playing 34" 5-string basses recently and was hoping that maybe the 34" scale might make it into the Skyline series. I love my Lakies, but I'm lovin' the 34" more and more. The more 34's I play, the less I'm convinced that you need a 35" to have a good B string.
Yeah I was playing a 34 in scale bass last week and started thinking the same thing. But love the feel of the lakland neck
Love everything about Laklands except 35" scale. They should offer this! I wd buy one now! Still will probably buy one.
